If you’ve always wanted to try skydiving but have not been sure where to do it, we have a few recommendations for you on some great places to make your jump.

For all you adventure and adrenaline seekers out there we have prepared a short list of the most amazing skydiving zones in the world, places that make this sport more than just a jump.

The thing is, while skydiving you need to enjoy the complete experience, it’s really important that you enjoy what you’re looking at on your way down. That’s why if it’s your first time, try to do it on from a place that you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

Fox Glacier, New Zealand 

New Zealand is one of the world’s best countries for extreme sports, if you can think of it, they probably do it in New Zealand. The Skydiving culture is very popular here, especially because of the gorgeous scenery country wide.

One of the skydiver’s favorite areas is the Fox Glacier, an 8-mile long glacier located on the southern island of New Zealand. As you fall, you can see the stunning coast of Tasmania Sea and the snowy peaks of Southern Alps.

Snohomish, Washington, United States 

This zone is known to be one of the most gorgeous in the United States. As you fall through the sky above Snohomish you can see the sheer beauty of the whole region, including Mount Baker in the Cascades Mountain Range and the green San Juan Islands.

Interlaken, Switzerland

Interlaken is one of the most scenic drop zones in Europe. Skydivers from all over the world visit this place to experience a unique jump that every enthusiast needs to do. From up there you get the chance to see four countries, Italy, France, Germany, and Austria. It is especially exciting for first-time divers who are planning on keep jumping around the world.

Dubai, Palm Jumeirah

This is a relatively new drop zone in comparison with the others. Unlike all the locations until now, Dubai is a city jump. It offers a distinct view of a Persian Golf and the beautiful, artificial palm-shaped archipelago. It’s the home of the annual International skydiving contest. Over the last few years, this has become a very popular drop zone for beginners who are searching for a new challenge.

Pattaya, Thailand

If you are an adventure traveler, this is your dream come true. It’s the only full-time skydiving zone in the whole of Southeast Asia.

Nong Kho Reservoir near Pattaya has the best views of the western coast of Thailand that will literally blow your mind while falling.

Besides the stunning views from above, you’ll be surprised by the green fields where you’ll land safely. Only an hour south of Bangkok, this is an amazing drop zone every adventurer needs to visit.

Everyone that’s traveling likes to do interesting things while visiting new places and skydiving is one of them. If you are afraid of heights maybe now is the time to beat the fear and trust a professional diver who will do everything for you and let you enjoy your free fall.
