CW-X Launches Vented Under Tight for Athletes – Body Maping Technology

Paul Pinkerton

The business of targeted support apparel continues to push the boundaries of technology. The fall/winter 2017 collection for CW-X® (CW-X.com) will include vented, insulated, and stylish print additions, all featuring targeted EXO-WEB™ to help athletes perform better, endure longer, and recover faster.

The patented StabilyX Vented Under Tight ($150 suggested retail), with male and female specific versions, is designed specifically as an under-layer that can be worn under running shorts in warmer weather or shell pants in colder weather. The stretch micro-mesh EXO-VENT body fabric of the tights uses small ventilation pores to move air toward skin for cooling, and wick moisture away for evaporation. Using body-mapping technology, the interior StabilyX EXO-WEB delivers targeted muscle and joint support while stretch open-mesh panels provide cooling zones in areas of high heat concentration.

Expanding on the vented support concept a new full-length CoolMax StabilyX Ventilator Tight ($115) for women will be added to the current shorts and capri-length collection in charcoal/black stitch colorway for FW17.

Made from four-way stretch Coolmax fabric featuring laser-cut Seamless Support Web technology, the CW-X Generator Revolution Tight represents the state-of-the-art in seamless engineered endurance apparel. The FW17 Generator Revolution collection for men and women ($200 sug. ret.) has been comprehensively restyled and will now be available in black/stone pink print for women, and black/stone orange print for men.

CW-X will debut the brand’s Endurance Run Pant ($95), and Endurance Run Short ($60) for men and women. Both available in charcoal grey, the Pant and Shorts are engineered to support natural running motion and complement the Endurance Run Jacket and Vest in the current line. Both are made from flexible, lightweight, water repellant and wind resistant soft shell fabric, with mesh side pockets, a zipper rear pocket, and reflective side logos for low light visibility.

While CW-X continues to focus on delivering unique performance benefits, the expanding collection of prints in the StabilyX collection add a touch of style. This style is epitomized by the black/grey/zigzag and faded denim blue print StabilyX Tights ($150). The men’s StabilyX collection will also expand with a black/grey/blue full length option ($150).
The multi-award-winning VersatX Running Bra will include a black/grey/zigzag print colorway ($55) to match the StabilyX Tights.

The CW-X cold weather collection will introduce the women’s Insulator StabilyX Tights in black/grey/turquoise ($130). Insulator 3/4-legth StabilyX Tights will be available for women in black/grey/turquoise, and men, black/grey/red, for ($110). Insulator PerformX Tights will debut for men in black/grey/red, and women in black/turquoise stitch ($90).

Long Sleeved Insulator Web Tops for men and women incorporate upper body specific EXO-WEB targeted support, and will be available in black/grey/red for men, and black/grey/turquoise for women ($95), to match the new Insulator tights.

The CW-X Components collection will add StabilyX Knee Support sleeves in black/blue for men, and black/raspberry for women ($40).
