There is a reason why surfing is a popular culture in the US. Miles of coastlines and stunning waves that never stop wait for the adventure-hungry people to dip into the deep waters. Finding the perfect surfing spot is not an easy thing, especially if you haven’t traveled around. However, there is always someone with more surfing experience than you who can help you find what you’re looking for. Here are some suggestions on where to go surfing this season and enjoy the laid-back beach vibe.

Montauk, New York

Montauk is a coastal town in East Hampton on Long Island that’s not reserved only for the fashionable set, but for chilled surfers as well. In the summer months, the town’s coves, points, and reefs become crowded by surfers who know where to look for perfect waves. In fact, Montauk is considered as a surfing jewel on the East Coast. The Manhattan-based surfers prefer Ditch Plains Beach and Turtle Cove, although the water here is cold.
