Road trips in America are something everyone must do. Endless highways, gorgeous scenery, and lots of fun are some of the things you can enjoy while driving in your car. If you have a ride and $5o, there are many beautiful places all around the country that you can visit, depending on your starting point.

A road trip is an awesome way to connect with your family, friends or your partner. It’s a unique experience where dreams come true and new things are learned. Explore new places and just hit the road. Assuming you’re driving a car that gets 24 miles a gallon, you won’t need tons of money to take a trip around the country.

Choose your favorite one from the list and see where the day takes you.

One of the good things about Los Angeles is that you’re relatively close to one of the country’s gorgeous parks that will allow you to see the difference between the city life you have in L.A. and the land of towering canyons and endless blue sky in Utah. Zion National Park offers lots of hiking options and a variety of plants that you can only see here.

From Washington, DC, you can go to Charleston, South Carolina

If you live in DC and work for some big company, then you need to recharge your batteries from time to time. The best thing to do it is to sit in your car, invite your friends, and visit Charleston. A classic Southern City with a fancy food scene, Charleston is a welcoming place for all of you who like to explore something different. Belmond Charleston Place is an elegant centrally located spot that you must visit if around.

From New York City you can go to Shenandoah National Park, Virginia

Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains will change the mode of your mind from city to chill. The Skyline Drive is a glorious drive with spectacular views, especially in spring and fall. All New Yorkers who like to escape the concrete jungle will enjoy this magical scenery. For boosting the experience you can go hiking and maybe see some bobcats, rabbits, white-tailed deer and even a black bear.

Changing the place you live in for a day or two will make a positive effect on your life. First, you’ll discover a new place and second, your need for escaping your hometown will be satisfied for a while. In the end, you’ll maybe find out that you like where you live. If not, start planning a long road trip until you find what your next hometown will be. Good luck with this one!
