Red Paddle Co Launches World’s Fastest Inflatable SUP

Red Paddle Co North America, the exclusive distributor of U.K.-based Red Paddle Co inflatable stand-up paddleboards, is pleased to launch its 2017 lineup, including a 14-foot race board, a 22-foot, four-person SUP, and an 11-foot board with removable fins, ideal for touring.

“Red Paddle Co, the largest inflatable SUP brand worldwide, continues to gain momentum in the Americas,” says John Hibbard, founder of Red Paddle Co. “Our 2017 line includes innovative new boards for two of our fastest-growing categories: racing and touring.”

The new 14-foot Elite MSL is the fastest inflatable race board ever designed. Weighing only 22 pounds, the Elite is 25-inches wide and features Red Paddle Co’s MSL Fusion, a propriety construction method that delivers a lighter, stiffer board at higher pressures.

The Elite also includes Red Paddle Co’s patented Rocker Stiffening System with Forward Flex Control, which makes the overall board up to 40 percent stiffer and removes flex from the nose.

The new 22-foot Red Dragon is designed for team racing. This is the world’s first inflatable four-person race board, and with the power of eight arms driving paddles through the water, it can reach incredible speeds.

The Red Dragon retains the same features as most of the Red Paddle Co Race family, including a profiled nose, slim body, and high sides so that it rises out of the water and slices through the waves.

The 11’3 Sport is another new offering from Red Paddle Co, designed for lake, ocean and river touring. The Sport boards are a popular, narrow shape for people entering racing or recreational paddling because of their speed and maneuverability. Its 32-inch width gives it great stability, making it suitable for a broad range of paddlers.

Also in 2017, Red Paddle Co has partnered with RAM Mounts, a leading accessory bracket manufacturer. All new boards will be fitted with a universal base to securely attach a range of accessories like GPS devices, GoPros, phones, fishing rod tubes, waterproof speakers, and more.

Lastly, Red Paddle Co is partnering with FCS Fins. All Explorer, Sport and Whip boards will feature FCS Connect Fins, a tool-less fin system that can be installed or removed within seconds.

The 2017 Red Paddle Co lineup will be available at selected retailers starting in November.
