Daisy Crockets Low Tide Rescue and The Beautiful Nudibranch (video)

Her boat dock’s broken, the tide is super low, her boat floats off, and she needs to be rescued, even with all that, the highlights of Daisy Crockets day, are the wildlife she sees and the beauty around her.

We’re stoked to be able to put up another video from Daisy about her life in the beautiful Canadian North West.

Thanks Daisy.

When Billy Proctor and I go exploring alone, we usually leave each other a note to our whereabouts, just in case we need a rescue.

I’ve never had to launch a search party for Billy, be he’s rescued me countless times. I’m always losing track of time and wandering without worry on my adventures.

Both these habits are NOT beneficial when living by the tides and recently I found myself needing rescuing yet again!

Big low tide in the bay

In the bay, there are Nudibranch or Sea slugs, and for the most part, they are invincible while embodying beauty in the truest sense. Nudibranchs cannot be harmed by any poisonous venom or toxic stingers or spines from the creatures they feed on.

In fact, they are not only invincible, but they save and utilize their victim’s toxins and armor for their own self-defense. Humans can be invincible too.

In this Video Daisy also talks about her favorite snails to eat, the frilled dogwinkle which grows in abundance on the rocks around the bay and the rest of her adventurous day.
