Another great way to make friends is to make a nice camp fire and also maybe either play some songs with a guitar and sing along or play your radio with some nice tunes that make a nice, inviting, and warm environment.

Make sure that you have all the necessary supplies so that people are not stressed out by the lack of necessary supplies such as food and fire wood.
If you bring ample supplies, this could be a great way to make friends at other campsites as you will be able to offer some aid with their supplies in the case that they did not bring enough for their whole party to last their whole stay.
